As the name suggests, self-adhesive vinyl floor requires no prior gluing or any special tools; a simple utility knife, tape measure, and ruler are all that is required!

To fit a beautiful floor such as the Senso Rustic Antique Style Self Adhesive floor; pictured below, all you have to do is to follow these steps!

The gorgeous Gerflor Senso Rustic Antique Style "0778 Fishbone Foncé"

  • Ensure all planks are of the same batch number

  • Before beginning the installation, it is a good idea to store the planks flat and face up, for 24 hours.  This is so the floor can become adjusted to the ambient temperature of the room where it is to be installed.

  • Ensure that any underfloor heating equipment operates on that a setting that is no higher than 28 degrees Celsius as any higher temperature may harm the vinyl.

  • Installation of 12 m² (125 sq. ft ) should take around 2 hours.
