The Forbo Flotex Advance collection combines contemporary design with functional properties for professional applications. The two design ranges, Latitude and Code, offer different approaches to creating modern interiors. While the carpet tiles Latitude are inspired by the soft textures of watermarks, Code incorporates graphic elements and pixel structures.
The Flotex flooring is available both as 2 m wide carpet flooring and as 50 × 50 cm carpet tiles. The flooring features a Flotex Next backing. Depending on the requirements of the project, the roll flooring can be installed either loose-lay or fully adhered. The Forbo Flotex Advance carpet tiles, however, must be fixed with tackifier adhesive or fully adhered.
The dense pile of high-quality polyamide 6.6 fibres offers excellent resistance to dirt and stains. The upright fibres make cleaning easier and help maintain a well-kept appearance over time, even in heavily trafficked areas (use class 33 in accordance with EN ISO 10874). The waterproof backing prevents spilled liquids from penetrating into the subfloor, helping to reduce the risk of moisture, mould growth and unpleasant odours developing in the subfloor.
With around 80 million upright fibres per square metre, fine dust and allergens are captured within the pile until they can be removed during cleaning. They can be effectively removed using a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush: Forbo carpet tiles have been awarded the British Allergy Foundation seal of approval.
Thanks to its dense pile, Forbo Flotex Advance helps to reduce impact noise and absorb sound, contributing to a pleasant acoustic environment. In addition, the surface provides slip resistance and secure underfoot grip in both dry and wet conditions, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
