In addition to its attractive appearance, Flotex flooring offers outstanding functionality. The high-quality nylon 6.6 fibres are particularly resistant to dirt and stains and make the flooring easy to clean. The dense construction with upright fibres ensures that dirt and stains can be removed effectively, helping the Flotex flooring to maintain a clean and well-kept appearance.

The waterproof backing prevents liquids from penetrating into the subfloor. At the same time, around 80 million fibres per square metre capture fine dust and allergens from the air until they are reliably removed by vacuuming. As a result, Flotex Colour carpet flooring contributes to improved indoor air quality and has been awarded the seal of approval from the British Allergy Foundation.

Flotex Colour also provides a high level of comfort and safety in everyday use. The extremely dense pile helps to reduce both impact noise and airborne sound, creating a pleasantly quiet environment. The Flotex Colour flooring is 4.3 mm thick overall and is suitable for use in heavily trafficked commercial and contract areas (use class 33 in accordance with EN ISO 10874).

According to the manufacturer, Forbo, the management system at the production site is certified to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. The supply chain is certified to SA8000. Flotex textile flooring is manufactured using 100% renewable electricity, 86% of manufacturing waste is recycled, and water-based dyes are used in the production process.
