Ter Hürne acoustic panels are available with either 1-sided or 3-sided veneer. The 1-sided veneered SilentDesign acoustic wall panels feature a 9 mm thick PET felt backing with 27 x 12 mm slats made from black MDF. The real wood veneer surface is finished with an easy-care natural oil coating that protects against discolouration and yellowing. The 3-sided veneered acoustic panels have slats covered with real wood veneer on all visible sides.

With different absorber classes available, Ter Hürne SilentDesign meets a wide range of acoustic requirements for quiet interiors. When the panels are screwed directly onto the wall, sound waves are broken up by the slats, achieving absorber class D. To reach classes C to B, the wall or ceiling panels should be installed on a timber batten substructure with a minimum depth of 60 or 100 mm. The highest sound absorption performance, class A, can be achieved by mounting the wooden acoustic panels on a batten substructure with an additional layer of mineral wool insulation. This makes Ter Hürne acoustic panels suitable not only for private homes but also for practices, schools, and offices with particularly high acoustic demands.

Known for its passion for wood, Ter Hürne has created with SilentDesign a product ideally suited for healthy and environmentally conscious living. The FSC-certified wood used comes from sustainable forestry. The PET felt consists of more than 50% recycled content, and even the natural oil finish is environmentally friendly.
