5 Litre Lobadur Easyfinish Lacquer

The Lobadur Easyfinish is a water-based one-component finish for natural cork, wood and parquet floors. This long-lasting matte finish varnish will emphasise the natural beauty of your flooring while also offering additional protection. This non-yellowing floor varnish is the perfect product for light commercial and high-traffic domestic areas. It is also easy to clean and care for and has high resistance to household chemicals.

The Lobadur Easyfinish is practical and can be used in combination with the Granorte Spectrum "6721000 Basic unfinished" cork tiles.  The product is available in 1L (covering approx. 5m²) and 5L bottles (covering approx. 25m²). 

Before applying the Lobadur Easyfinish to a non-lacquered cork, you must make sure the floor is dry and free from any old coatings, wax, grease, silicone and sand dust. We recommend also using a primer to increase application reliability and ensure a finish free of lap marks and stripes. Simply, apply one layer of coating to the roller. The application rate per coat is approximately 80-110g per m². Try and apply evenly at the recommended coverage rate to avoid any streaks or puddles. Allow this layer to dry overnight to reduce the risk of granule swelling. Then, apply another layer of the floor varnish. After 8-10 hours we advise you to intermediate sanding before applying a final layer. After 24 hours, the flooring will be ready for light use. After 5 days, your flooring will be ready for full use and will impress with a beautiful finish.

The Easyfinish lacquer can also be used in combination with pre-varnished cork flooring ranges such as the Granorte Spectrum,  Granorte Naturals and Granorte Naturtrend. It does provide an extra protective layer for high-traffic areas i.e., offices. For best effect, a light sanding is recommended before applying the lacquer and then applying two coats.
